The Origin Story
This was originally going to be some well written puff piece of a self-introduction, done in the third person like the rest of the website - but then I decided that just isn't me and wanted to provide a little more authenticity.
So - here it goes! Hey! I'm Keely - the creative mind and founder behind Of Moons & Mountains. How'd I come up with such a long winded name, you ask? Easy - I love the mountains, the moon, space, and nature...so I just jumbled up a bunch of words, and voila! In all honesty, I grew up in the mountains, and them and the moon have always set my soul on fire. There's something incredibly humbling about being in the mountains, and the moon is quite literally a force to be reckoned with. I mean have you seen the way she controls the tides?! The moon is a bad ass queen - kinda like I want to be when I grow up.
I love art, all of it. Being creative sets my soul free, and brings me a happiness that I can't describe. The fact that people want to buy my art is still incredibly surreal - and I'm greatful for every sale.
You'll find that I can be a little inconsistent in listing items or posting on social media. I unfortunately was involved in a car accident in July 2019 that left me dealing with post-concussion syndrome, amongst a plethera of other things. I have a lot of good days now, but I still also have a number of bad days - and trust me, the bad days are bad. I always appreciate the patience and kindness that you all show me.
